Ocean Alert App
The Ocean Alert app is used to collect sighting data and record deployment/recovery details for our drifters. Manuals, instructions, and login information can be found here - only accessible to SAEL lab members.
Sighting Data
To acces sighting data, go to https://spotter.conserve.io/accounts/login/ and use the SAEL lab login. Under Sighting CSV, click the ‘Sightings’ link for ADRIFT Buoy Deployment project. This will download a CSV file of all sightings data from ADRIFT CCC cruises.
Drifter Deployment and Recovery Data
To acces drifting buoy deployment and recovery data, go to https://spotter.conserve.io/accounts/login/ and use the SAEL lab login. Under ‘Other CSV’, click the ‘ADRIFT Gear Deployment’ link for ADRIFT Buoy Deployment project. This will download a CSV file of all buoy deployment metadata from ADRIFT CCC cruises.
